Brighton Therapy Centre is a small UK-registered charity based in the vibrant coastal community of Brighton, and we have been providing high-quality no-cost and low-cost counselling and psychological therapies for individuals, families, young people, and local businesses since 2012. Right now, we are experiencing an overwhelming demand from our community, and we are grateful for the grant from the Pixel Fund that allows us to meet the needs of the young people who come to us in search of mental health support.

The £4,000 funding that we have generously received from the Pixel Fund will allow us to be able to continue to offer counselling and therapeutic interventions to our young carers aged 8 – 18 years and their immediate families. Since the pandemic, this support has proven a crucial lifeline for so many of our families and we cannot thank the Pixel Fund enough for their support and for believing in our work.

We would like to thank Pixel for supporting Counselling Plus to continue to offer professional counselling to local young people. Since our inception in 1992, the need for effective mental health support has hugely increased and whilst this is a positive change due to recognition of its importance, it does mean that we need additional support to meet this increased need.
