Check your Progress

This page allows you to check the progress of your submission and negate the need to email us for an update.

The application process for The Pixel Fund can take some time. The average turnaround from initial enquiry to grant over the past ten years is five and a half months, but this can very widely. This can cause uncertainty to charities and their fundraisers who rightly need to know where their submission is in our process.

All submissions are responded to whether for a positive or negative outcome, but as The Pixel Fund remains oversubscribed, your organisation may not hear from us for a month or more. To give you some idea of our workload, since 1st February 2024 (to 18th October 2024) we have received

  • 589 Requests to Join a Q&A session

  • 192 Eligibility Checklist Submissions

  • 84 Due Diligence Submissions

  • 46 Applications

How to check your progress

All potential applicants begin the application process by attending a Pixel Fund Q&A meeting, following which they can decide to fill in and submit the Eligibility Checklist Questionnaire. On submission, they will receive a copy of their submission, which will include a unique reference number which will look something like this: PF240212-0092

You’ll notice that in the sections below entitled Due Diligence Form and Submitted Applications the reference number is prefixed with DD and RA. Ignore this part of the number and only cross reference with the part that begins PF.

The reference number should then appear on all communication with us from now on. With your reference number you are able to check below where you are in the application process.

Eligibility Checklist Questionnaire

Below is the current backlog of Eligibility Checklist Questionnaire submissions. It doesn’t take long to work through these and we’d normally do them in batches of ten or twenty. However, we hold back on doing these until we have cleared space further down the pipeline.

Those at the top of the list will be dealt with first. For navigation there maybe a scroll bar on the right hand side of the table.

Due Diligence Form

Following the checklist above you may have been invited to submit a Due Diligence Form. Your Reference number can be seen in the first column. This is grouped into sections. If your submission is in the first section, then it is waiting to be dealt with. In the second section ‘Queries on Due Diligence Response’, we are in the process of clarifying with you some issues (and are probably waiting for a response from you). In the ‘Application Invited’ section, you have been invited to submit an application, but we have yet to receive it.

Those at the top of the list of each section will be dealt with first. For navigation there maybe a scroll bar on the right hand side of the table.

Submitted Applications

Following Due Diligence, you may have been invited to submit an application. Your Reference number can be seen in the first column. If your application status is ‘Waiting for Charity Response’ we are waiting for you to respond to a query from us. Those applications with ‘Waiting for Financial Screening Response’ are getting a pre-meeting check from several of our Trustees before going to the next meeting. ‘Move to next stage AFTER next meeting’ means that we are full for the next meeting and the application will be dealt with in the next round.

For navigation there maybe a scroll bar on the right hand side of the table.

My Reference Number isn’t there!

If you can’t find your Reference Number in any of the above tables, please

  1. Check again.

  2. Check your emails as you are probably between stages. For example, if you have been invited to submit a Due Diligence form, but you haven’t yet done so, you will not appear on any of the above as the ball is in your court, not ours.

  3. Drop us an email.
