Brighton Therapy Centre is a small UK-registered charity based in the vibrant coastal community of Brighton, and we have been providing high-quality no-cost and low-cost counselling and psychological therapies for individuals, families, young people, and local businesses since 2012. Right now, we are experiencing an overwhelming demand from our community, and we are grateful for the grant from the Pixel Fund that allows us to meet the needs of the young people who come to us in search of mental health support.
Our individualised approach to low-cost long-term therapy ensures that experienced and fully qualified practitioners are working with our most vulnerable clients. We first meet our clients when they come in for an assessment, and this initial consultation gives us the opportunity to make a best-fit match between the client and a BTC practitioner. We also run a group specifically for young people that brings participants together to learn from each other and to help them develop healthy relationships with others in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality.
Thanks to financial support from the Pixel Fund, we can continue to respond to the diverse needs of our community on a case-by-case basis at a time of unprecedented need for mental health support services. We strive to place our values at the heart of our work: integrity, inclusivity, compassion and excellence, and we appreciate the Pixel Fund’s recognition of our efforts to support our community.
