At Mind of the Student (MOTS), we work alongside young people every day as they navigate the pressures and uncertainties that come with growing up. Whether it's anxiety about exams, difficulties with friendships, low self esteem, or simply feeling overwhelmed, many young people benefit from having the space and support to talk openly about how they are feeling.
We are incredibly grateful to The Pixel Fund for choosing to support our work.
As a small charity, partnerships like this are invaluable. The Pixel Fund's support represents trust in our mission and belief in the young people we work with, enabling us to continue creating safe spaces where they can learn about mental health, build resilience, and gain the confidence to seek support when they need it.
Through our whole school workshop days, six week community based EmpowerU programme, and Ambassador Training, we see first hand the difference early intervention can make. Young people leave with practical tools to support their wellbeing, increased confidence discussing mental health, and, in the case of our Ambassadors, active listening and signposting skills that help them support their peers.
The funding provided by The Pixel Fund will help us enhance the workbook used throughout our EmpowerU programme. Working alongside a graphic designer and our Clinical Lead, we will refresh the resource to ensure it remains engaging, accessible, and relevant, giving young people practical tools and activities they can continue to use beyond the programme itself.
We are proud to partner with organisations that share our belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. From all of us at MOTS, and on behalf of the young people who will benefit from this support, thank you to The Pixel Fund.
