ESDAS provide emotional support and practical assistance to child survivors of domestic abuse. Domestic Abuse changes children's lives, they loose many of the things we can take for granted; security, trust in the adults around them, hope for the future, peace and calm.
With funding from the Pixel Fund we will be able to provide essential trauma processing and emotional support to child survivors through specialist play therapy. Play therapy by accredited providers can give children a safe place to understand what has happened to them, learn coping strategies and start to rebuild their capacity for calm and hope.
