Relationships Scotland - Couple counselling Fife is delighted to continue our service to young adults (18-25yrs ) . Historically, young people were not represented amongst our clients, due to experiencing barriers in accessing the service, mostly financial and social barrriers. many young people suffer very poor mental health, experiencing a lack of confidence, self esteem and aspiration.
Combined with concern for the environment, insecure job prospects and reduced access to affordable housing , this makes for poor mental health at large amongst our youngsters.
The funding from the Pixel fund will enable us to reach out to young people and offer free counselling , usually 12- 18 sessions , depending on their engagement. Counselling helps to increase confidence and mental wellbeing. We are passionate to reach out to young adults as counselling can help them make positive choices in the transition from teenager into adult life.
