Me2Club is delighted to have received funding from the Pixel Fund to support our work reducing isolation and increasing inclusion for children and young people with additional needs in Berkshire. This grant is helping ensure that more children can take part in everyday activities alongside their peers, building confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.
The funding is supporting Me2Club’s core inclusion service, which matches children and young people with trained volunteer buddies who provide one-to-one support within local clubs, groups and activities. This tailored support enables children to safely access opportunities such as sports clubs, uniformed groups and community activities that might otherwise feel overwhelming or inaccessible.
Thanks to the Pixel Fund’s support, Me2Club can continue to recruit, train and support volunteers, reduce waiting lists, and respond to growing demand from families seeking inclusive opportunities for their children. The grant is making a meaningful difference by helping children feel included, valued and confident within their local communities.
