Me2club - Inclusion for All Project

Me2Club is delighted to have received funding from the Pixel Fund to support our work reducing isolation and increasing inclusion for children and young people with additional needs in Berkshire. This grant is helping ensure that more children can take part in everyday activities alongside their peers, building confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

Me2 Club, Inclusion for All Project: Empowering Disabled Children through Mainstream Activities

Me2 Club is a charity which helps children and young people with additional needs and disabilities aged 5 – 19 access social, sports and leisure activities in Berkshire. It was set up in 2003 by a group of parents who wanted the same opportunities for their disabled children.

Our first grant from The Pixel Fund will play a key role in enabling children, with wide ranging additional needs and disabilities, to return to the leisure activities they love, safely and confidently!

‘Lessons Learnt From Lockdown’, the largest report on the impact of covid on disabled children, states the focus of their recovery should be re-engaging socially, getting used to being back in a routine, gaining confidence in peer relationships and having fun.
