Breakthrough provide FREE specialist therapy; support & wellbeing services; crisis support; groups; and mental health courses for those struggling as a result of recent or historic abuse.
In the last few years they've seen a considerable increase in the numbers of young people looking for support for trauma, but who fall through the gaps between child/adolescent and adult statutory services.
Breakthrough have close links with local colleges and universities to provide fast and efficient referral pathways for young people in mental health crisis.
With the help of the Pixel Fund they're able to offer long term individual therapy and group work for young people at risk of self harm and suicide, or who are struggling with complex needs or unhealthy coping strategies as a way of managing their mental health.
