The Pixel Fund has kindly supported our ‘Good to talk’ project which is an intensive programme reaching out to adults with spina bifida and hydrocephalus to help them devise strategies to cope with the effects of these lifelong conditions on their mental health.
Up to 40 adults with the conditions will be able to participate in this new programme which will include a full health check as often the physical and mental effects of these conditions are intertwined, a facilitated social network and national events.
This project will make a very real difference providing much-needed specialised mental support which will enable our members to plan for a brighter future.
