Friends of Raglan is delighted to have been awarded £1,500 from The Pixel Fund to support the redevelopment of the Key Stage 2 Quiet Garden at Raglan Primary School.
The current garden is out of use, and KS2 pupils do not currently have access to a dedicated calm outdoor space. The redesigned garden will provide a peaceful, sensory-friendly environment where children can relax, regulate emotions, enjoy nature-based activities and take part in small-group outdoor learning.
The grant will contribute towards essential elements of the project including landscaping, native planting and the creation of quiet seating areas — all designed to support mental wellbeing and emotional resilience.
We are very grateful to The Pixel Fund for their support. This funding helps bring us a step closer to providing a much-needed wellbeing space for all the pupils in Key Stage 2, benefiting their happiness, confidence and learning experience for years to come.
