Ignite Life Supporting Young People With Mental Health Care
At Ignite Life, we provide mental health support to disadvantaged and marginalised young people across the South West. We have three mental health services, with a new one launching in February 2024. All services aim to support those who too often slip through the net due to poverty and social disadvantage.
The Pixel Fund Partnership
With thanks to The Pixel Fund, Ignite has been granted £5000 to go towards our 1:1 counselling services for young people.
The sessions provide mental health support and provide young people with the tools to overcome these challenges. Mental health care is needed now more than ever. We receive referrals from as young as 5 years old, to support with multiple challenges/adverse experiences, from assault to abuse, to gender identity challenges, depression and self-harm. Ignite have supported young people to re-engage with education through providing a tool kit to manage anxieties and future challenges; supported families to connect and supported young people to talk openly about depression and reduce instances of self-harming.
This funding will provide 100 counselling sessions!
