Pop Arts is a charitable organisation based in Haringey, that wants to ensure all young people, regardless of their financial status or the challenging circumstances that they might face, have access to the support and technology they need to make their own music. We believe everyone can make great music and great art, but for those that are less fortunate, there are often barriers in place that restrict their access to the arts and creativity. Our mission is to transform lives through music. We’re specialists in working with young people living in challenging circumstances and have a proven track record of helping our participants to reach their full potential in music.
Pop Arts is delighted to receive this grant and continued support from the Pixel Fund! The funding will allow us to engage young people living in the borough of Haringey into our bespoke music mentoring programme. Participants will meet weekly with a professional music producer, to create their own music in our state-of-the-art music production studio in Tottenham. Our music programmes are designed to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our participants, as well as developing their skills in music production and song writing.
