Re-Instate’s W-rap™ Project (Well-being, Recovery, Activity Parcels) is entirely co-produced and managed by people who use our services. W-rap aims to provide at least five full size gifts for patients during long-term hospital stays due to their mental ill-health.
Thanks to a grant from The Pixel Fund, Re-Instate will develop a team as the ‘W-rap Pack’. This team will be made up of young people as part of their transition to adult services, including Re-Instate’s Employment Service. Engaging in the project will develop a range of skills including working in a team, researching potential outlets for W-rap, sourcing gifts, marketing and putting the packs together.
Re-Instate is a charity working to improve employment opportunities, quality of life and well-being for disadvantaged people in the London Borough of Bexley including people experiencing mental ill-health, people with learning disabilities and young people.
