Thanks to the generous support of the Pixel Fund we can now fund 5 specialist car seats for babies with Type I & II Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Parents are having to deal with a maze of service provision and when the baby has a life limiting condition they need help quickly to benefit the child immediately. We want to encourage independence and quality of life for people with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Being able to provide a specialist car seat quickly enables the family to travel around together for important hospital/hospice visits.
